Scribble (game)

Scribble is a letter tile game, in which you form intersecting words to score points. You play against the fast and furious robot.

To Run Scribble

1. First you have to install Java if you don’t already have it. (Click the link and then click “Do I have Java?” to check.)

2. Then download the program to your desktop or wherever you want to put it.

3. If you have the latest Windows XP “fix”, then Microsoft has renamed the file for you as an added inconvenience. If the file you downloaded is a “zip” file (ends with .zip), then rename it back to its original name: scribble.jar. (If you don’t see extensions on your files, choose Folder Options, View Tab, uncheck “Hide extensions for known file types”.)

4. Double click on scribble.jar to run it. If this fails, try this repair tool: JarX (Windows only).

Let me know if you can beat the robot. I rarely can!
