The idea is to have an online store for any products (arts of any kind, crafts, merchandise, collectibles, etc) produced by autistic/disabled person, or by a small business with large representation (ownership and employees) of such persons.

There are various organizations and individuals, mostly parents promoting creative works of autistic children. It is important what they do; more so for the social recognition of the talents that autistic people can bring to society; and perhaps a few of these kids will be able to capitalize on this in the future.

What we are after is more than that; we want to translate the capacity of autistic people for creativity and people’s unique abilities into a sustainable venue that will be a source of income for these individuals hopefully for some time into the future. We’d like autistic participants to become the owners, shareholders, contributors, workers, as well as the managers of the enterprise that is created through their participation and efforts.

How to accomplish this is to be determined. We should explore the avenue of an alliance with people who are perhaps on a way to this already on a somewhat different plane. We should and will explore other avenues.

This project shall initiate a Discussion on how this can be achieved, while at the same time asking people to come forward with their talent (art, craft, or skill) and ideas how it can be merchandised. We shall also find and promote here others (organizations and individuals) who are on a similar path and investigate the possibilities of alliance and cooperation with them.
